The Lion King: Six New Adventures is a collection of books spinning-off of The Lion King. It is a collection of six short stories written by various authors and published by Mega-Books, Inc. with permission of The Walt Disney Company. The books were denied by the film makers in 1995 and 2003 on the commentary track of the film.
While three of the books are set after events from The Lion King - focusing on Simba's son, Kopa - one of the books, A Tale of Two Brothers, is set before the events and two of the books, Nala's Dare and A Snake In The Grass, are set during.
The Books
The books are numbered from 1 to 6. There appears to be no pattern of order beyond their numbering.
