The George is a very important place in the plot of The Lion King, it is also a minor part in The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride. The first time The Gorge gets introduced is when Scar lied to Simba about his dad having a surprise for him. It is where Shenzi, Banzai and Ed cause the stampede. In Simba's Pride, Zira falls down into the Gorge when Kovu breaks the dam. It is also the death place of Nuka.
