The Lion King: Six New Adventures are a series of short stories about characters in The Lion King - but they were not created and written by The Walt Disney Company. They are original stories from outsider childrens' book and comic writers, and thus the new characters, names and events in the books are only semi-officially Disney, while the books were also denied by the film's makers in 1995 and 2003 on the commentary track of the film, resulting in their contents do not exist in the movie universe.
