But I don't find them to be messed up in any way. I'm just saying it's probably why the brony-haters think that way.

It doesn't matter really what the characters are. I don't watch the show myself, and I have come across a few bronies that kinda make me hate that community, but really, from what I've heard... MLP is just a really good show about friendship.

The new "and improved" user interface is just wrong. Maybe it'll be good for use on a touchscreen, but from my (limited) experience using it with a mouse, it's a labyrinth that will take some time getting used to impossible to work out. I myself am not used to the new interface, but I know my ways around it enough to install Classic Shell so I can get the good old Start Menu.

I should really take that off my signature...

Lol I found it really easy to use, plus it's somehow convenient at sometimes and I use it on a non-touch screen laptop, hasn't given me any problem yet, don't even get what's the hard thing to get used to on it

The biggest problem about the new UI for me personally is that the buttons are just too big, and I'm too lazy to move the mouse all the way across the screen just to click on something, even though I use a higher-than-average mouse sensitivity level (as compared to most other computers I've used, like friends' computers).

Another thing people find annoying about the new UI is that once you open it up, you kinda lose focus on whatever it was you're doing, since it floods the entire screen.

Oh, another problem, who would ever have guessed that you're supposed to move your mouse to the top right of the screen and then drag it down to access the control panel? There's nothing to show that you can do that. You'd have to know about it before using it. With the start menu, however, there's a distinct button on the lower left that looks like it's begging you to click it, and once you click it, it shows you very clearly everything that you can do - There are no 'invisible controls'. You open the menu and boom, you see 'control panel'. With the new interface, it's not as prominent and you'd have to know how it works beforehand.

^ I like Windows 8 as an operating system for my phone. Not sure I'd want it on my laptop. My laptop is 5 years old, so I have XP which I've always found great.
