Mila waited for Kivuli, and when he arrived the two shared a stare into each others eyes that lasted a few seconds. Mila was about to answer the question that was asked by Kivuli before a voice rang out to her ears, breaking the lioness' fixed gaze as the voice spoke out towards the pair. She listened to Kovu and back to Kivuli as the two exchanged words.

Kivuli then addressed Mila again, and having her attention brought back towards the grey lion, Mila found herself again staring into the lions eyes as he spoke of what they should do. Not caring too much about what they did, seeing as she had no plans at all, Mila was fine with what the lion said.

"Sure, then let's head back." Mila giggled at Kivuli's remembrance of the hunting lesson she had requested of him, which had seemed so long ago from that period of time. "I'll take you up on that offer. An evening hunt involving a lesson, and a hot lion to warm me up when it becomes chilly. Remind me to be your pupil more often." Mila smiled at herself, and was a bit surprised to have been so flirtatious with the lion. In an attempt to keep this up, Mila spoke again, this time is a simple, quiet tone of voice that was loud enough for the lion to hear but surely no one else would be able to. "Hot lion in more ways then one." Her smile was stuck to her face and Mila let another short round of giggles escape her golden furred muzzle before turning around, and trotting back towards Kovu's direction and the promontory of Pride Rock.

Kivuli was taken back by Mila's sudden flirtatiousness towards him. Without wasting time he went and joined Mila on the walk home. A cool gentle breeze was blowing, cooling the feline bodies down from the afternoon sun If this wind keeps up I wont have that cool body for you to snuggle with Kivuli said in jest, letting a few chuckles escape his muzzle and just between you and me. I'm not the only 'hot' one round here Kivuli then gave Mila a seductive little wink before playfully nudging her to the side. All the while Kivuli began to laugh

Mila listened to Kivuli as he replied with an equally flirtatious remark, along with a sly wink that made Mila surprised at HIS comments.
"Aww, I'm sure the wind won't cool down the heat, unless your mane flies off or something of the sort." Mila giggled once more. This conversation was very interesting to her and she enjoyed it. She had no idea why. But she enjoyed it. "And something else hot around? Where?" Mila jolted her head around to the left and to the right, faking a search around the lands which surrounded them in a joking manner. She laughed again at his sly wink and found herself in a fit of giggles, not entirely sure on how to react to such a seductive gesture. "Anyways, I'm sure the wind won't be the reason anything would cool down. It would only turn up the heat for both of us, hun." Mila was now containing an explosion of laughter which ended up just being a intense grin as she continued to walk towards Pride Rock, and with Kivuli on her side joking, she felt completely at ease.

Kivuli could not contain himself no more. The gray lion burst out in laughter, as the pair made their way up the side of Priderock, heading towards the den I guess the real question is Kivuli leaned into Mila and whispered how much heat can you take? That statement just sent Kivuli into another fit of laughter. Where had this fun flirty side come from? Kivuli was never like this. Right now he didn't care. All he knew was that it felt great. Alot better that running round alone looking for revenge

The pair reached the entrance of the den, but just before they went in, Kivuli fell on the floor with all the laughter. He felt so carefree now, and didn't care if he was seen or not. He just wanted to have fun with Mila and be with her as much as possible. Even if the fun was being highly flirtatious

Mila laughed just because Kivuli was laughing. The way he joked around with her and the way he laughed just made her laugh alongside him. At Kivuli's comment, Mila just flashed Kivuli a seductive smile, and laughed at the way he was just rolling on the floor.

Kivuli fell on the floor when the pair reached the entrance to the Main Den. He was exploding with laughter and it was a contagious kind of laughter. Along with Kivuli, Mila began to laugh with him. After a fit of laughter, Mila offered out a paw to Kivuli to help him up while she said "Let's go inside." with a smile.

Having gotten the confirmation he'd been looking for, Kovu moved on. He still had to find Laini and Vitani and Santiago. He wasn't very familiar with Laini, who generally kept to herself, and so decided to notify Vitani and Santiago first. He had a very good idea of where they might be, seeing as he'd been present when Vitani left with Santiago to show him his new guest den. He headed towards the private waterhole, and before too long he was at the water's edge. Not knowing exactly which den Santiago had ended up choosing, Kovu wandered around pokinghis head inside several different dens before he found the pair.

"Hey you two," Kovu said casually, "Simba says the meeting's about ready to start. And don't you make that face sis, he's serious about this. You guys need to be back by the time I find Laini and get her to Pride Rock or else we'll all be kept waiting."

Vitani had twisted her mouth slightly in irritation, and stuck her tongue out at her brother defiantly as he mentioned it. She wasn't going to be told what to do by any little brother.

"We'll be there," she said resignedly, "don't get your mane in a bunch."

Laini had noticed that the lions gathered in the main den due they all passed her den in some distance. As the last lion has passed the den she raised to her paws and turned to the entrance. There was no sense in not showing up. It would only anger the King. She knew that she had to be present there even if she did not really like these meetings.

Taraji was a bit intimidated by Nalas actions. She looked up to Jemalia but Nala had made clear that she would not let her off the hook without her doing what Nala wanted. And Nala still was her source of food so it was not your any lioness request.

Taraji gulped as her crystal eyes looked into the eyes of Jemalia. She licked her muzzle and her throat felt dry. Her voice was so soft and faint that it was barely noticable. "Erm.... I..." Taraji squinted to Nala and then back to Jemalia. "Erm... I am.... Tar...a...ji..." again she squinted to Nala to check if she was pleased now. For Taraji it was everything but a nice experience. Even if she was a bit relieved after it was done. It had not been so hard at all but still Taraji felt insecure so openly before the strange lioness.

Taraji struggled a bit to fight against the paw of Nala. Hadn't she done what was asked of her? She still was unable to turn her head towards Nala so she only peeked to her from the edge of her eye while her eyes became more and more frightened again. She was a bit cross with Nala because of this threatment and in her eyes a bit of anger was visible under her fear.

Rahina nodded to Simba and answered with her soft voice "I am fine, thank you." Her voice sounded a bit exhausted and she threw a glimpse to Nala who was unfortunately occupied. Rahina did not dare to go over and ask the queen for her help directly in front of all these lions and lionesses. But she wanted to talk to the queen very much at this moment. There were things that only an older lioness may understand and help her with and Nala was the lioness Rahina felt the most attached to. She liked the calm queen and had faith in her.

Tired Rahina lay down and just nudged Kopas paw to show her affection towards him before she lay her head on her forepaws. The unsuccessful hunt and her running all day had worn her out even if she was in a pretty good shape for her situation today. The thoughts she had at the outlands still hang weary and heavy in her mind. She wanted this meeting to be over as fast as possible, then maybe have a word with the queen and then... she had her mind set to finally tell Kopa. But not only about her pregnacy but she wanted to bring the topic of her... or their... cubhoods up. She knew it had been a taboo between them all the time. They never had talked about their cubhood. Neither the time in the outlands (and prideland) nor the time after it. It only came to discussion one time at the start of their relationship but both had noticed how hard it was for the other to talk about it. But Rahina wanted to share these dark but important memories with Kopa and she wanted to know more about him too. About his cubhood. He was the son of Simba... or was it a mistake? Rahina remembered that Kopa had not yet told her about his speach with Simba. Did they agree to something? Did Kopa get any information about his past or a confirmation that this story was true?
Rahina peeked to Kopa from the brink of her eyes. Did he hide something as well? She had to ask about it. But this was neither the place nor time to do so.

Satisfied with Taraji’s performance now, even if it was still a bit difficult to make out what the little cub had spoken, Nala could tell that Taraji was becoming frustrated towards her. Knowing that there was a limit to how far anyone could push a cub in one day, the cream colored queen gently removed her paw from beneath Taraji’s chin, giving the crystal eyed cub a loving caress with her fore paw as she retracted it, speaking in a pleased voice.

”Good job Taraji. That wasn’t so bad now, was it?”

Adding to her mother’s supportive comment, Kiara chimed in as she praised her daughter for a job well done.

”There you go Cutie. Mommy’s very proud of you. I know it took a lot of courage for you to do that but it’s just a part of growing up like Nala said.”

Giving her mother a thankful nod, the golden furred princess rose to her paws now, making her way over to where her and Kovu’s assigned sleeping pelt for the meeting had been laid out at. Taking a comfortable position atop it, Kiara motioned for Taraji to come join her as she addressed her father, who was a few paws length away from where she was.

”Good evening Daddy.”

Smiling warmly down at his daughter, Simba moved up on all fours, making his way over to her before delivering a loving nuzzle to her, replying in a gentle voice as he did so.

”Good evening Sweetie, and hello to you too Taraji. Ready for another exciting Pride Meeting?

Kiara gave a sarcastic smile as she responded in an equally amused voice.

”Oh, of course Daddy. Can’t you tell? I’m just overflowing with excitement.”

Placing his large fore paw atop his daughter’s head, ruffling the fur between her ears in a playful manner, Simba chuckled as he replied in a reassuring tone.

”Don’t worry Kiara. I think you’ll find this meeting to be quite interesting actually.”

Both Kiara and Simba’s attention were grabbed by the sudden laughter coming from the entranceway of the main den, causing both curious felines to flash a glance over to the source of the commotion. Spotting Mila and Kivuli, completely losing themselves in hysterics, Kiara giggled as she stated.

”If that’s any indication of things to come, you’re definitely not kidding Daddy.”

Now that Taraji had left to be with Kiara, Nala found herself with Jamelia once more as she turned to the uniquely colored lioness and spoke.

”Well, looks like things are going to be getting underway here Jamelia. I hope you don’t mind me leaving you right now but I have to finish getting everything in order. If you need me though, just call out. Once the meetings underway, you’ll probably just want to rest or something, unless you can find any interest in our pride rituals here but it’s up to you. Just as long as you’re comfortable, that’s all that matters to me.”

Giving Jamelia a friendly smile, Nala moved off and outside the main den, passing by both Mila and Kivuli with a cheeky looking grin plastered on her muzzle as she did so. Taking hold of the least dismembered wildebeest carcass, the cream colored queen transported the tasty meal back into the den, setting it aside in the typical corner that most leftovers found themselves at. Repeating the process, just to assure that no scavengers would find their way to the pride’s meal, Nala carried the second wildebeest back into the den, plopping it next to the first, before moving off and making her way over to Rahina and Kopa, where she took a seat and addressed the pair.

”Glad to see you two back together. I hope everything is okay between the both of you and I’m happy you both made it to the Pride Meeting. Things should get started once everyone shows up. Basically, the only rules of the meeting are to be respectful to whoever is speaking and try to keep the background noise to a minimum. Typically, the meetings don’t last too long, as they end up becoming a social gathering rather than a serious event but just be patient and polite and there won’t be any problems.”

Seeing how exhausted Rahina looked, Nala couldn’t help herself as she leaned in close to where Rahina was, speaking in a muffled voice as she asked.

”Everything okay with you Rahina? You look so tired.”

Finally calming down. Kivuli stopped laughing and looked up at Mila. Her paw was out, intended to help him. Straight away he took Mila's offer and pulled himself up, but not before gently licking her paw, in a near loving manner. Once he was up, Kivuli looked into Mila's eyes once more for a few minutes Lets go, don't want your father waiting with that Kivuli entered the den

Once inside Kivuli lay down opposite the queen, slightly curled, indicating where he would like Mila to lay. Once settled he looked over at Nala and spoke Hello again Nala. I see the hunt today was quite rewarding. I dont think there will be an empty stomach in here this evening Kivuli was joking on again. He was getting quite used to the happy carefree life

Smiling warmly over at Kivuli, Nala nodded as she replied in a joking manner, keeping with the lighthearted mood that seemed to have swept over the grey furred male and her adopted daughter.

”Indeed, it was, thanks to Rahina here Kivuli, although I wouldn’t go as far as to say that no one will go hungry, as if I remember correctly, you can be quite the bottomless pit yourself when you’re hungry, isn’t that right?” Flashing Kivuli a toothy smile, the cream colored queen directed her commentary towards Mila as she continued. ”I remember watching Kivuli and his two friends when I was younger. The three of them put down a whole zebra amongst themselves and they were mere adolescents then. If Scar had found out about that, they would have been history, but leave it to Kivuli to find a way out of that mess.”

Giggling humorously, seeing that she was beginning to embarrass the grey furred male, Nala reached a paw over to him and patted him on the back in a friendly fashion, not saying anything but keeping her mischievous smile upon her muzzle as she sat there.
