what do YOU think I mean with informing other people? confess their faith to others of course, just as non-believers have the right to confess their lack of faith to believers. and I'm only using christianity here as an example because it's the biggest relegion. where did I say christians should get ''special treatment''?[/quote]

I don't inform. I teach. And it sounded like you meant christianity only.

it doesn't matter if you inform or teache, because believers also should have a right to teache about their faith. and I said I used christianity as an example because it's the world's biggest faith/relegion.

I voted secular. Religion has caused too many wars, but people should be able to have their faith no matter what. We should respect one another's religion, but I'm afraid that's just not how the world works...

My bad, I thought you meant that door knocking mentioned earlier, to which I completely disagree with. And you gotta admit that was really misleading... Why say "Christians" when you're talking about religion in general? Biggest religion or not, not everyone is going to think of religion in general when you specifically say "Christians"...

I said christians because when we talk about relegion, we generally refer to christians mostly because it's the most common and basic world-relegion. but what exactly did you ment with ''door knocking''? sorry, haven't read every post here if I missed something.

As in having someone knock at your door and try to convert you into their religion.

^Door knockers refer to Jehovah's Witnesses, and some other groups, that basically go door to door advertising about their belief system. They seem to think that's the best way to convert people. -.-

Which is in fact the worst way possible... It's just plain annoying and it likely hasn't been helpful ever. Irritating someone makes it less likely to actually make him believe in what you're saying.

I find it very amusing when they come to my house. They're always the first to walk away.

I just think it's funny that a lot of people believe everyone else should have the same beliefs. Isn't religion actually supposed to promote tolerance?
