Jioni glanced at Kujaa, then back at Jiirani. He padded over to the rest of the Pride, panic flaring as he saw some lionesses struggle to stand. "What can we do?" He murmured softly. He turned to look over at the distant Oasis, wishing it wasn't so far. Jioni sighed and began to help, lending his little strength to the weaker lionesses. He was still younger, but they had lost nearly all their power--especially those with cubs.
Uru stepped back from the wildebeast, her hunger satisfied. She watched as her pridesisters finished the kill, ripping the meat apart. She sat down, her thoughts of Mohatu rushing back. She looked at the sky, hoping her son was safe. Uru glanced back at the feast, where the majority of the lionesses had finished. Uru flicked her tail and began to head back, her mind once again with Mohatu.
