A Battle To Show Ourselves (Me, and Simba66)

A Battle To Show Ourselves (Me, and Simba66)

Postby FallenAngel18 » May 6th, 2011, 9:53 pm

Characters: Tivana and Tuva: Me
Shari: Simba66

Any other characters we can just play

Im the midst of all the drama of the Pridelands and Outlands, there are others who don't fit in. They weren't rouges, or from the royal family. They just don't fit in. Today we go back to two different lions. And Outlander trying to fit into the Pridelands, and an Outlander trying to show what he does best. Together, they conquer over all odds, even making it to the next step.

A soft thump on Tivana's nose woke her up. She groaned, ignoring the tugs on her ears as she turned over, barely squishing the little lion cub under her. Tuva growled, his ears back and tail flipping madly as he tried to wake his half sister up.

"Come on Tivana. I want to head out!" He growled, jumping on her side and jumping up and down. Tivana smiled in her sleep, her eyes cracked as she felt her body bouncing to his paws. She grroaned, turning over on her back and feeling Tuva jump on her belly.

"Come on Tivana!" He growled. Tivana laughed and opened her eyes. She grabbed him in her front paws and began to lick his head. Tuva squirmed out, looking at her. Tivana laughed, before getting up and yawning.

"I want to go to the watering hole!" He complained.

"Alright alright. I'm headed out, come on little one." She said, stretching her back paws. She looked around the dimly lit cave. All the lionesses were sleeping away from the rock she was on. No one wanted to be around her. Even Simba, Nala, and Kiara slept away from her. Tivana rolled her eyes, before following her half brother out.

Tuva jumped around as Tivana followed him to the watering hole. She remembered when she was that young. Always full of energy where she lived. But then her father died by a stampede, and her mother took her to the Pridelands, knowing she would be there. But no one wanted her. She was just a young cub, nothing could've happen.

But she was raised that way. She wasn't part of the pridelander blood. SHe didn't even look it. She had all the traits of an outlander. Dark fur, black tail, different nose. She hated that she didn't belong, but at least her brother did. He was brought as a baby when she was a cub. He was her half brother, and Tivana raised him.

Tuva began to pounce on a frog, and Tivana took a sip from the water. She looked at her reflection. The water was muggy, so she couldn't only see half of herself. When would she be one?

(I hope it makes enough sense for yo)

With the rising of the sun, a dark furred Outsider lion could not stay asleep in the open any longer. After being told to survey the Pride Lands by Zira for the assault on the Pride Landers. Kovu was to lead the attack right along Zira's side while he stayed behind them in the front line. Likely being among the first to die, but his life would be for the greater good. Thinking of these events, Shari wondered if it was truly worth it. Kovu would be seated on the throne, while Shari would be dead and forgotten.

Shari stood up, sleep completely escaping his system, he continued his survey. He glanced at the remains of the Zebra carcass he had claimed yesterday and smiled. It was the only good thing about this mission, being able to prove his strength that had been built over the years of his life. Killing his prey with no struggle at all. The knowledge of what they would do and the power to take them down. A truly deadly combination. But he wouldn't eat this morning and risk becoming bloated today. He would save the rest for later. Today was the riskiest day of the survey yet. This day, he was to survey around Pride Rock.

Shari walked to some tall grass and crouched through the blades, searching for a blind spot in the mighty domain. As he continued traveling through the cover, he made it a point to avoid all sight. Sense all the creatures of the land passed vital information to the king of the Pride Lands. And if Shari was to be discovered... his mother wouldn't even look at him. He would likely be banished from the Outlands forever. And the Pride Lands didn't welcome him either... He would have nowhere to live if he failed this mission.

Tuva began to pounce for the frog. It jumped in the water and he followed, splashing into it. Tivana looked up, before laughing at him. Tuva shook his head as he sat in the water, his little black tuft of fur on his head falling in his eyes. He growled at Tivana.

"It's not funnY!" She exclaimed.

"Then don't follow the frog into the water Tuva." She laughed, picking him up from the water and cleaning his fur. Tuva struggled out, whining until he was finally free. Tivana sighed, before drinking some more water. Suddenly a soft thump hit her side and sent her falling to the side. SHe laughed, turniing on her back as he stood on her belly.

"I'll be a strong lion. Maybe even king of Pride rock one day Tivana!" She said, tugging on her ear. Tivana grabbed him in her paws and turned over, licking his fur.

"One day Tuva. One day. Now go practice some mroe." She said. Tuva smiled and jumped on, practicing his pouncing. Tivana laid there, watching him. She smiled, watching him.

Shari drew close to the pointed rock that somehow represented majesty. Exactly how did that get started. Whatever, all he knew was that it was his job to get the proper information and get back home. He cautiously crawled about the tall grass, watching the clouds roll by, one by one. Shari couldn't put his paw on it, but there was something about today that was different. The wind felt the same, the weather was the same, there was no sound in the lands and the company was the same; none. So what was it?

It may have just been the day itself. There was now only five days before the invasion. And the stress might have been getting to this lion. He had a job to do, and if he didn't return with ample time to deliver the information, he was dead meat. So far what Shari had discovered was pretty basic: The land was fair and bountiful with plenty of cover, especially in the dead of night, the food would keep them sustained if they had to set up a secondary camp inside the Pride Lands should they have to suddenly retreat. Now all that was left was to discover the best route into the Pride Lands, the best way into Pride Rock, and the number of lions defending the citadel. If he got that information, the Outsiders had already won.

Shari stopped in his tracks. Something caught his ear. Talking... he tried to ignore it as it was probably just some prey talking amongst themselves. They were safe from Shari's wrath today, seeing as he had enough food to last him a while longer. But suddenly, he heard something about being the king of Pride Rock. Now this captured Shari's interest. Simba didn't have a son, just one annoying daughter. And to hear the voice of a cub saying he would be king one day? That drew his attention. This may just be worth taking away time from the mission.

Tivana smiled as Tuva began to chase a small beetle. She loved her brother, even if they weren't alike in any way. She sighed, laying her head down on her feet. She sighed, feeling the cold water lap at her nose as the wind pushed it. She sighed again.

"Stay close Tuva!" She yelled. Tuva gave a growl as a response, before heading on again. Tivana smiled. The land was beautiful in the morning. Tivana remembered her father taking her out as a cub to see the land. She always remembered it.

She perked up, hearing some rustling. But she ignored it. Probably a lone gazelle, or Tuva pouncing. But she kept her ears up and alert for anything as she kept thinking.

"The mighty king stands before you. Hear me roar!" Tuva said, standing on a rock with his chest puffed out. He roared, but it sounded like a tiny yowl. Tivana rolled her eyes.
