Shari gave her a quick look, but then put his focus on Pride Rock. He visualized him and his pride living in peace where Simba's pride once lived. And nobody would dare stand in their way. Glancing back at the two lionesses, Shari cleared his throat and said "Very well then. Do not say I didn't warn you." Lowering his head, he let out a low growl. His mane blew in the slight wind. The silence rang in the air, until *boom!* As loud as he could muster, he let out a thunderous roar. It carried across the entire Pride Lands without remorse. But it wasn't just a simple roar.
The signal had been fired in two different directions. One for each end of land. Shari's mission was almost complete. All he had to do was kill Tivana and keep Kiara in the vicinity. It was too easy.

Simba's ear perked up. Something had woken him from his slumber. Something that didn't belong in his kingdom. The first thing in his mind was Kiara. She was in danger. "Kiara!" With lightning speed, Simba rose to his feet and bolted out of the den. He scanned the grasslands below Pride Rock, searching for what didn't belong.
Simba couldn't find anything though. His daughter was nowhere to be found. Just then, something caught his eye. Two black lions on the horizon. One could have been Tivana, but Tuva was still at Pride Rock. An outsider! A low growl signaled Simba's departure. He called for Nala before he left. "Nala! Kiara's in trouble! Without another word, the king and queen took off to find Kiara.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Zira sat on her haunches next to her prince. Awaiting the signal from Shari. Ah, there it was. Zira's eyes widened with anticipation. The plan was moving to the next phase. Without looking at Kovu, she whispered "The plan is in motion... Go!" As long as he followed the direction of the roar, he'd reach Shari before it was too late.
