TLK merchandise

Did they try to make Kovu Simba and Kiara Nala? That's really disappointing. You'd think all this merchandise would go through a few checks before being released into the public..

a good deal of it's mass-produced in China. in their rush something generally gets messed up. what bothers me is when plushies look deformed. I have this Kiara hand puppet and she's all cross-eyed and has a jumbo mouth! and the Tiny Tins I got, they used clipart of Kiara with Nala colors on the tin! plus all the tiny plushies were deformed, especially Pumbaa. the McDonald's SP Simba I have doesn't even have ears...

what's really annoying is when they mess up on the Disney Store stuff. the baby Simba plushie I got in Disneyworld in the fall has a weird face, like the muzzle's messed up or something. and I have this Lion King playset where Simba and Nala look fat and they're supposed to be cubs yet they're bigger than even the adult Scar figure.

not that I don't like my stuff anyways, I'm too obsessed to not want it.

Yeah, me too. But it's really hard to get the shapes right in plushies because they're basically just stuffed toys. Plus, like you said, they're mass-produced in China and someone's bound to make a mistake. But I agree with you, they really don't look very nice.

lol, well my TLK collection isn't terribly large, but I do have a good variety of items, some of which are really nice and look like authentic Disney merchandise, while other's are not quite as enticing to the eye. hehe. ^^ I think the worst item I have is a little plastic cookie jar of Cubby Simba. Don't get me wrong, it looks fairly accurate to what Cubby Simba looks like, but it's actually a talking cookie jar. So, how do you get it to talk? Well, first you have to pull off Cubby Simba's head....yes, that's right, that's where the cookies are supposed to go down his throat, although this thing is so small that you'd be lucky to fit those little mini oreos down there and not get them stuck. >.> Anyways, once you decapitate Cubby Simba to get your snack, he says "I just can't wait to be King", which would be all fine and dandy in my bookk...if his voice wasn't higher pitched than a three year old whose sucked up a party room's full of helium balloons. <.< I'm serious, his voice makes the munchkins in Wizard Of Ozz sound like Berry White. >.> if you happen to see my YouTube vids showing my TLK collection, you'll be treated to Cookie Jar Simba's voice, although I don't really think anyone should have to listen to him when he sounds like that. I guess that was how they'd make sure that the cubbies didn't become all fat from cookies, since Cubby Simba's voice would detour them from ever wanting another cookie for as long as they lived. >.>

Anyway, as for my merchandise... Well, I don't have much, my mom made me give away my little TLK toys. I had Mufasa, Shenzi & Simba, and now they're gone...

But I also have TLK on VHS in Norwegian, and I have the english ones on the comp. And I have TLK OST.

I also have a Kovu/Kiara poster somewhere, along with a TLK picture... But I don't know where I placed it... I will try to find it though!

I have tons of lion king stuff. Like that first "must read" comic on this website, I own that as a book. I have a coloring book from when I was a cubbie, a Scar figure thing, and a lion king shirt, and plenty more.

I am so incredibly jealous... I mean, I know I'm def at least over the 50+ mark, but I don't have anywhere near that much TLK stuff.
