Kijamii simply smiles at Lina as she asked where the race should be to. Since she had only explored the area between her home and Dakari's hideout, she could not make any suggestions herself. She simply settled between looking between Dakari and Juhudi, waiting for one of them to suggest something. She also realised that her lack of knowledge of the area would be a significant disadvantage. But with one of Lina or Juhudi on her back, she could simply have them guide her, which would certainly help.
Eventually Juhudi managed to speak up. "Hey, how about we race to your den, Dakari?" Juhudi suggested. "And if that's not long enough, we could always make the race there and back!" he added excitedly. He couldn't wait to get this started...except there was one more thing left, which brought a conflicted look on his face. "But who's riding who?" he asked. He loved riding on Dakari, as it was a pasttime of sorts for him and Lina...but he was also curious as to what this new lioness was like. In the end, he decided he could not decide himself, and looked at Lina, waiting for her to make her decision. Either way, he realised, it would be awesome fun.

Tanga nodded as Marini suggested there were leftovers from this morning's meal that he could eat, silently berating himself...of course, now that he was with a pride, they would eat together. He would no longer need to kill specifically for himself and Kijamii...not unless he wanted to waste the lives of the herds around here, which was never a good idea. He realised that he was going to have to get used to living in a pride now, and the thought actually brought a hint of a smile to his muzzle...his family had always lived as rogues, and he had never really had any hope of joining a pride, as much as he wished he could one day. Now that dream had come true, and to top it all off, he had made a new friend in Marini...
Fortunately the lioness in question spoke up again, reminding him that they had reached the waterhole, before his rambling thoughts could continue on and embarrass him. He did, however, remember the way in which had easily read him, and went red at the idea of having a crush on Marini. Fighting to keep his blush hidden under his fur, praying Marini could not notice it, he looked up and saw the waterhole, smiling as he heard Marini giggle. "That it does," he said vaguely, still distracted with trying to bring his wandering thoughts back under control, as he slowly approached the waterhole, sighing in contentment as he started to lap up the cool, refreshing water, only now realising just how thirsty he was.
