Yeah, Matthew Broderick and Jonathan Taylor Thomas are very awesome voice actors :grouphug:

Simba is my favourite TLK character. He's the hero, but not your typical hero. He may run away from his problems, but in the end he always faces up to them and wins. Which I think is a very admirable trait :happy4:
As ive said before, I still think he could have faced up to his problems without running away
Don't forget the hyenas also threatned to kill him when he ran away, and he was just a cub.

And facing up to your childhood fears, especially one so traumatic as Simba's, is very difficult. "Scars" from things that hurt or scare you when you're young often run very deep.

Simba did in the end face his past, even though he was afraid, and that is courage :D

Though I think it was the same fear that made him into who he was in SP. Maybe he wanted to be rid of everything that reminded him of Scar, and Zira and her friends certainly would have. (Then there's the theory of Kopa's death, that I support, but it's not canon, so.. =P) The writers of SP could also have made Simba extra bitter so that he could be taught a lesson by the new star of the show, Kiara, too. *shrugs* Not that I mind Kiara, really, but I think that since she was the new heroine, Simba had to step aside.

Simba's behaviour in SP is plausible, but a bit out of character...
