Sarabi stared at them for a few moments, Nala nodding to confirm Simba's words. "Oh..." she finally said. "Because, I guess...with everything that's happened, I don't think traditions are going to matter. Look, it's great that you two are happy together, but don't let this affect you...but then, Simba, once you're king you can technically do whatever you like, so the betrothal thing seems kind of pointless, looking back," she said with a smile. "Just thought you should know, that's all...I hate keeping secrets, especially from my own son."
She gave Simba a quick nuzzle and lick, before looking around. "I'm assuming Tanga's off on his run...how is he today?"
