Both Tanga and Nala increased their pace to match Kali, remaining a very short distance behind her. Tanga just focused on keeping his energy usage as low as possible, while Nala tried to make sure she was out-doing Simba in the endurance test, wondering just how long all of them would go for.

Now that she could see, with quick glances over her shoulder, that the others were well and truly settled in, Kali picked up the pace much more frequently, now setting them into a brisk jog. She was sure all of them would be able to hold this pace for a few minutes, but after that, she expected some of them, at the very least, to start tiring. Despite the moderate pace they were currently setting, the group had already completed roughly a quarter of a lap.
