@Nakisisa: Adeola struggled to her fours, and shook her head, looking up at her 'savior'. She looked away from him, and walked past, "thanks". She headed back for her den, as she knew that her sister would be there already. Adeola didn't know if she would tell their parents or not, but she was praying that her father would not come to her aid.
'A real challenge' she had heard the male phrase. What was that supposed to say about her character? That because she was a girl, she was not allowed to be threatening? Or that she was just assumed to be cuddly, and sweet all the time and do everything others told her? As she paced forward, she shook her head of the thoughts and ignored the male behind her.
"Adeola!" A voice roared, her head drooping down with a sigh. Malaika got Tendai involved...
She turned her head to see a gold lion with a dark brown mane and angry green eyes come speeding to her aid, staring the male down. "Father---"
She was cut off by Tendai letting out a shaking roar, and he growled over at the dark male in front of him. "What did he do to you?"
"Nothing!". But her words weren't speaking well for her, as she saw her father glaring at the male in front of him and he was not looking like he was backing down any time soon. Though Adeola and her father, Tendai shared similar color pelts, she knew she was nothing like her father in most cases.
"Adeola!" Another voice called out, as she looked to see the rest of her family speed down to her rescue. It wasn't she whom Tendai was looking at killing, they should have been more worried about the male in front. Beside her, came her large, dark, adoptive younger brother, Neobi. Beside her father was Afolabi, her creamy younger brother, Malaika, and her dark mother, Zuri. Neobi rubbed his head on his sister's at seeing the wounds and started to lick some that were bleeding.
"He did this!" Malaika sneered, getting in the same position that her father was in, ready for the attack.
"No!" The eldest sister said, getting back in front of the male, "he didn't attack me at all". Her words soothed her father and sister, as they withdrew their fangs and claws, getting back to their normal standing positions. Afolabi and Neobi eyed the male.
