Why do onions exist?

How many people has he told? I kind of like how people are reaching out to me, but... I just can't explain my reasoning for this to anyone. My dad yelled at me when I tried, and it just seems so stupid when I think about telling anyone else. Not to mention I'm sure they'll have the same explanation for my reasoning as he did (although maybe in a calmer tone). I just...Don't know what to do. I'm done talking to people about it, but there's still at least one person that I have to call, and I'm not sure how that one will go.
