It's done and over now. They know. Pretty soon, I'll be moving out, living on my own (hopefully I can find a place before he actually kicks me out). It might be a little rough, but hopefully it will be all okay.

Oh what I would give for the TLK remake to have a darker theme, maybe even its original ending-But Disney'll never do that...

Today was absolutely freezing, and it doesn't look like it's going to warm up any time soon.

Same here - the Jungle Book remake was a fair bit darker/grittier (as was the original book, apparently. I haven't read it.) The same director is at the helm of the TLK remake so who knows? :cheese:

The Jungle book remake was darker? I didn't see it precisely because I thought it would be a like for like reproduction of Disney's animation of it. In that case I may watch the new(ish) Jungle Book film.

The Jungle Book remake was definitely more violent, had a darker tone there are two (maybe three?) musical numbers but they are fairly short.

The movie also has a lot more focus. The og disney version felt like a big string of very loosely connected scenes while the remake has a stronger narrative.

Why do onions exist?
"There comes a certain time in life that you have to listen to your heart to take the path of happiness or satisfaction. I'm trying to find my destiny, and all I've found is adventure and Nature. But I'll keep looking for clearer answers.
The more I move away from humanity, the more human I feel."
