How expensive buying textbooks for next semester will be. One book costs $257 alone (:ocwap:), two others cost about $150 each, and the cheapest one is about $30. I really wish there was some way around it, but I don't think there is.

That's pretty much how buying textbooks is in college. They're expensive!
Wow, seriously?

In my case, I only need to buy one or two textbooks and, even so, my most expensive textbook is around $18. If no book is required, professors usually provide booklets that contain everything that is needed for the class - the prices for these can vary between $1 and $15, though.

I do need to buy actual books for Literature classes, but, even so, I usually find them at pretty low prices, so that I don't spend a lot of money.
This is just in my bachelor's case, though. In others, that "overpriced textbooks" situation also applies.
