How expensive buying textbooks for next semester will be. One book costs $257 alone (:ocwap:), two others cost about $150 each, and the cheapest one is about $30. I really wish there was some way around it, but I don't think there is. :/

That's pretty much how buying textbooks is in college. They're expensive!

Wow, seriously? :-o In my case, I only need to buy one or two textbooks and, even so, my most expensive textbook is around $18. If no book is required, professors usually provide booklets that contain everything that is needed for the class - the prices for these can vary between $1 and $15, though. :? I do need to buy actual books for Literature classes, but, even so, I usually find them at pretty low prices, so that I don't spend a lot of money.

This is just in my bachelor's case, though. In others, that "overpriced textbooks" situation also applies. :/

My job is making me hate holidays. With that schedule, I'm not going to be able to wash a uniform for Saturday, and they always work me on Saturdays, and they always work me on special days. So I guess now I have to waste $20-30 on an extra uniform this week. Seriously not cool. I'm so tired of most people getting to take it easy on holidays while I have to work three or four times as hard for the sake of letting lazy assholes eat somewhere country fresh instead of having a nice relaxing and fun dinner at home with their families like they ought to. I WILL NOT still be working here next Thanksgiving or Christmas, and if I have my way, I'll be long gone by the 4th of July too. I'll work some place that understands holidays are stressful enough without overworking people around every single one of them. I swear I'm working for Ebenezer Scrooge...

Work, as always. I start in 38 minutes and am dreading it. I am so done with it. I sure hope I get that one position (even though it can possibly take me three hours between walking and riding the bus to get there). I'm glad Driver's Ed is here so that I can mark off more and more days and times for work.

Edit: I just remembered I only get a 10-minute break today. :ocwap: No! I wish I could have the half hour one...

I have nothing to whine about and I'm whining about that. Sometimes I feel like getting stressed over tiny things that don't really matter in the grand scheme of things is an important part of being human and I'm missing out on that :D

I need to charge my 3DS, but I want to keep playing. I can't, though, because the charger's length is too short.
