I appreciate it. Death is hard, especially when it's unexpected and you're young and you're dealing with a lot of other things. But I think it teaches you a lot about your own frailty as well. I think, if nothing else, it encouraged me to go out and live my life to the fullest, which is something I desperately needed at that point in my life.
