Honestly I think it was some questionable decisions but also the fans losing interest in general. I've noticed some interest has been rekindled with The Lion Guard, but for the fans that aren't into the show it's still not much else left to discuss.

Personally I think we should bring the chatroom back to the index page so people can get to know themselves better using an accessible chat, I remember we brought it back for a short while then got rid of it again.

Agreed, 2012 pretty much came to a head with bad decisions across the board.

I remember at some point getting in trouble a few times (and apparently a few other members too) for very minor "offensive" things because apparently a parent had been complaining about it, and instead of choosing the side of the members that had been here for years took the side of the parents which I think angered a few people who were suddenly getting in trouble for ordinary things.

In regards to the chatroom it should definitely be brought back to the Index page for more visibility, not really sure why it was removed again.

I think the forum has just become less active because like Kops said there isn't much left to discuss related to TLK left to discuss. And perhaps bad decisions also played a role, but I can't really comment there. Admittedly I can't have much of a perspective on this, since I've only been here for a little under a year. Just my two-cents on the matter.

MLK was a bit of a mess pre-2013 to be honest, there was a lot of unrest at certain periods. It's definitely quieted down since then, but I think that's because like Flip said a lot of the old members left out of frustration or got banned as well as a lack of interest. There's only a few regularly posting members left anymore really, it seems like a shadow of what the forum used to be in comparison.

Well that's quite a shame for sure. I have definitely noticed that this forum isn't terribly active, even compared to when I joined last year. Maybe the forum is just as active now as it was last year and I'm just crazy, but it's something I've noticed.
