The worst part is that it's not even the child's fault their parents are so stupidly inconsiderate and with no backbone to tell them to stop if they're old enough to understand.

Agreed, it's not hard to take your child outside until they've calmed down to show some common courtesy to the people around you who don't want to listen to it, especially where people are trying to concentrate on work.

I admit I'm not an expert in child raising or anything and understand that dealing with a child is very difficult but I know I'd try to make sure if anyone else can keep my child before doing that, it happened yesterday while I was waiting at an office and it was really distracting. :/ Plus seen too many parents recently with incredibly noisy children with absolutely no discipline that justify their inaction by saying "that's just how kids are, they'll grow out of it". Cue their children making troublesome teenagers and adults because they never had consequences for their wrongs. It's just lazy when we live in an age where there's so, so many sources on how to humanely discipline a child both from the internet, books and from trained professionals. I understand that's likely impossible for very very young children but after a certain age it's just bad to not even try deal with the behaviour. I feel like we've left the period where child abuse was considered "discipline" only to enter a period where child neglect is considered "good parenting", both being incredibly unhealthy towards child development in different ways with dangerous consequences for society as a whole.

Okay this just turned into a vent, it's just an observation I've made from people IRL recently that's been really concerning.

My teeth hurt... not sure if it's because I'm brushing them more regularly now that I'm able, or if the food I had yesterday hurt them, or both, or neither. Dentist trip will have to be a priority once I'm hired somewhere.

Still no confirmation date for my training, and my dad has planted a seed of thought into my head that's giving me a bit of anxiety about it all. I will admit I'm so prone to anxiety that it was probably inevitable for me to take it that way, but it's beginning to make a lot of sense. Still, you'd think when it's advertised officially on their website and you could be paying them £2,500+ for it... they'd want to accept that. I know I would. It seems like sheer laziness to not want to look into the details about it, especially since it was only coincidence that I happened to be the first person to want this particular qualification at the end. I'm just paving the wrong for another person, but I guess I have to deal with the consequences, even if they're totally unfair. :mad2:

A pity, too, because I really liked them. I guess I should just focus on finishing this college application and hope that they give me some answers soon.

I should've studied, but I didn't. Now, I'm regretting it.

I want to talk to someone about the book, but the only one here right now is my youngest brother, and he doesn't want to hear about it. :(
