Violence never really bothered me when I was young.

Likely because parents were never really bothered about violent games and as having older brothers they found a number of them back then, such as the original DOOM amongst others.

^ I dunno, I guess it affects people differently. I never really became desensitised to it, though I admit I do have a morbid curiosity when it comes to gore now.

I've always more or less understood death due to my condition but it still upsets me when a family member dies. And yeh violence in games or movies never really affected me and still doesn't. I don't squirm or feel uncomfortable watching things like Thrones or TWD. The only thing that makes me uncomfortable are sex scenes tbh.

The last time movie violence disturbed me was the curbstomp scene in american history X. Videogame violence doesn't disturb me as it's almost always over the top.

Depends on what family member it is whether it bothers me, but yeah, if it's people I care about, it's upsetting.

Sex scenes don't really bother me either. In fact I can only think of one scene from any media that's bothered me much, and that would be a certain scene in Shaun of the Dead when one character is pulled through a window... anyone who's seen the film will know what I'm talking about.

About thirty more minutes, and then I can start reading again. I will definitely be finished with the book by the time she calls me, by herself, so we can talk. :D

On a different note, I'm thinking about maybe starting a blog of my own.

Yeah I know what you mean. They just feel uncomfortable and most of the time they're completely uneccessary which makes it worse.

^ Considering I'm asexual, sex scenes have never bothered me. Some of the OTT ones in GoT and OITNB amuse me. :D
