
(It is not necessary to go live abroad to be important to know another language - fluently or just a little bit. It is just needed to, for example, visit X country. A lot of people assume that it's not necessary to know a minimal of that country's language, because they [visitors] speak English. Yes, it's the "international language", however there are countries in which a lot of people get insulted when visitors criticize the "I don't know English" or the refuse of its use, like if this is the native's obligation. I was mostly referring to these type of people, not those who do not visit any other country and stay in their birth country.)
