(I'm so behind, I'm only fluent in two languages. I need to do something!)

(Oh, you speak Spanish? I didn't know [that]! Being fluent in two languages is already good! Some people only speak one language.)

(Yeah, I speak it. Not as well as a native Spanish-speaker but I'm fluent in writing and reading and I can listen well. A short visit to a Hispanic country should better my speaking abilities. So I'd say that I'm fluent in the language overall.)

EDIT: Ninja'd, but true. Guess I'm doing better than 90% of Americans. xD

:unsatisfied:

(Yeah, that's true. Except for some communities in Nevada, California, Arizona, etc. There are many people there that speak Spanish and English natively and I'm really jealous because nobody speaks Spanish well here in Washington.)

Que guay! Puedes comprender el Português? Estoy preguntando por pura curiosidad.

(That's cool! Can you understand Portuguese? I'm asking out of pure curiosity.)

(The truth is that a lot of people still believe that it's unnecessary to know more than one language, namely, their own language. It's actually sad.)
