Despite not wanting to do it, I still wish that I could drive myself to the movies on Friday so she wouldn't have to deal with the time at night.

I did a quick bit of research on some old message boards as to which one was better, and lots of people reported having to replace their "fat" PS2s three or four times before giving up and buying the slim one.

The slims wore out more easily in my experience, we have a "fat" one now and it's lasted longer than any of our slims ever did. We had a "fat" one that a cat broke, and at least two slim ones, and now we have one of the original ones again.

Well, we'll wait and see. This slim one is barely used apparently, and even if it is a bust it was relatively inexpensive, and I'm trying to set up a collection of old consoles, so at least it can be added to that

Yeah, he's a fat cat and kept dropping on it from really high up and broke it after a while.
