Shwari smiled as she spoke her kind words. A purr rumbled in his throat as he looked into her eyes. "I'm glad that I'm that special ingredient." He said in a very loving tone. He wanted to at least nuzzle her right now, but he didn't want to infringe on their agreement of taking it slow. He remained where he was, just staring into her eyes. He just sat there, waiting for something to happen.
"Do you want to star watch tonight? My father and I used to just sit down and make pictures out of the stars. Even Husudu loved playing that game." Shwari said with a chuckle, at the nostalgic memories. The thoughts of his entire family just laying there and pointing out images made Shwari's grin grow wider. Perhaps one day, he'd do the same with a family he has with Zina, if that ever happened.

Ayari chuckled as she said that he shouldn't be expecting to mate that night. He was laughing because that thought didn't cross his mind. The last thing he wanted was to have a cub, and die in battle or have Vitani miscarry it during battle. In that case even if they won, it would be traumatizing for his family. He affectionately nuzzled her as she spoke.
"Well, we could pretend Vitani, but next morning we'd wake up to war. Just like our cub days..." Ayari pointed out with a slight frown. "When it's over this time... I'm throwing in the towel. I don't want to fight anymore." Ayari said as he purred from the affection he was receiving from his lady.
When Vitani mentioned fun, Ayari scuffled his nose. Did she want to play tag or something? He didn't understand quite what it meant. "Yeah. Fun. What was fun to us before, probably isn't fun to us now Vitani." Ayari pointed out with a raised eyebrow as he nipped her neck gently. "Let's just sit here, and reminisce? Just... Fill in the potholes in each other's memories?" Ayari said with a smile. He knew it was probably boring to Vitani, but at least this way they could avoid their urges.
~ Heart of the pridelands ~
Husudu started to chuckle, and then burst out laughing. He shook his mane and slammed his paw to the ground.
"The reason I don't have a lady, is because I don't need or want one you fool. Perhaps you are so primitive that you bow to your instincts, but not me! I rely on instincts only in battle! Why are you without a mate? Can you answer me that? Talking down on me because you think you have the ability to hurt me on a mental level. Let me just remind you, I lost my mind a very long time ago. Still haven't been motivated to find it yet!" Husudu explained with a snarl as he stepped towards Xepher.
Husudu honestly did not care for having a mate, and honestly meant every word he just spoke to Xepher.
"Life of luxury? Hah! I take nothing and give nothing to that damn pride! I only help them because my 'bratty' brother is fond of that shaman. Though I'm a little glad I left your sad excuse of a rogue pride. None of you can fight, and you don't smell too good either. One last note, if I see you or any of your pride members on these lands I will tear your throats and hand you over to Maju." Husudu growled.
"Now run home, or i'll take you there in pieces." Husudu warned.
