^ To be fair, that hunt was legal, and the money gained through that tourism is used to prep up the economy as well as fight a much bigger threat: poaching. The only thing wrong here is that it was made so public.
No doubt about that, but I think the fuss is about how lions are held at such a high regard, and how its very easy to hunt and kill them. Meaning that you don't have to be a good hunter to kill a lion, just get yourself a good tour.
