A Royal Fib

Plot
A Royal Fib begins with Zazu, Mufasa's majordomo, teaching the prince of the Pridelands, Simba, all the important rules of the Pridelands. But Simba is uninterested in the lesson, and tells Zazu this. He then begins to slink off, but Zazu stops him, saying "life's not only fun and games", and calls him a "spoiled prince". But Simba retorts by saying Zazu shouldn't boss him around, since he's a prince and Zazu is only his teacher.
But as Simba begins to stalk off again, he is stopped by his father, Mufasa, who had overheard the conversation. Mufasa states the importance of lessons and says that Zazu is a good teacher. But then he surprises Simba by saying Zazu is also of royal blood. Mufasa claims that Zazu was king of "Birdistan", and that a "mean uncle" had taken over Zazu's throne and exiled him. Then, Mufasa and Zazu leave Simba, who is flustered at hearing this news. Going back to Mufasa and Zazu, you learn that Mufasa had made up the story, but that neither he nor Zazu would ever tell Simba this, for they wanted to make lessons go easier. Meanwhile, Simba is still brooding over what Mufasa had told him, only half-believing his father's story. Then, still unsure, he calls down two birds flying overhead, and asks them to do him a favor.
Back at Pride Rock, Zazu is calmly minding his own business, when the same two birds Simba had spoken to earlier fly over to him, and begin calling him the "king of Birdistan". They say that the "mean uncle" Mufasa had spoken of earlier had been driven out, and that Zazu is to return to Birdistan at once. Zazu, greatly surprised at this, quickly flies back to report this to Mufasa, and the two agree that Zazu is to find Birdistan and clear up the misunderstanding; but meanwhile, Simba is laughing hysterically with the two "messengers from Birdistan".
Apparently, he had pulled a trick on Zazu, so he wouldn't have to have lessons from the bird for two weeks! But Mufasa happens to overhear the conversation, and confronts his son on the matter. But after he's through lecturing Simba, he thinks to himself about how wrong he was to have lied to his son, for it had caused a huge problem, and now Zazu would not return to the Pride Lands for two weeks! Two weeks later, Zazu returns, and Simba apologizes to him. After accepting his apology, Zazu says that his two weeks away were well spent, for he hadn't found Birdistan, but had found another place. A place where he had seen many different kinds of birds, and where he had been treated like a king, just as if he really was one!
