Ed is one of Scar's loyal henchmen.
Physical Attributes
Bulging, crossed eyes, large ears with bite marks, big tongue, crazy smile, small hair on top of his head. Ed often takes a lot of ribbing from his pals but he just keeps laughing all the time. He is the only hyena whose name doesn't have a Swahili meaning.
Info
One of the hyena trio, which includes Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed. Ed is not the smartest hyena, and is known for his wild, maniacal laughter. Although many people think that Ed hasn't ever said anything, watch "Be Prepared" end very closely. When the hyenas sing "Yes, my teeth and ambitions are bared", then as you watch Ed, you can clearly see him say these lines. Even though he was not that smart, he was the first to notice that Simba and Nala were escaping and was already aware that Simba is Mufasa's son (of course, he did forget to tell Shenzi and Banzai that until they said his name when they were cornered by Mufasa). He also made a low, sinister laugh when Scar said that the hyenas were the enemy. Ed is also a resident of the Elephant Graveyard along with Shenzi and Banzai. Along with Shenzi and Banzai, Ed is one of the confirmed hyenas to have survived the fire at Pride Rock.
