Chapter 26

Kopa runs out of the bushes to catch up to Kelsey.
Kopa: Whoa whoa what was that!?! I know they’re the enemy but I mean….she was pregnant, she could hardly even defend herself you couldn’t have at least-
Kelsey: NO! Don’t you dare tell me that I should have spared her life! I don’t care if she was pregnant or not, she was a hyena! They killed some of my closest friends, I’ll kill them all if I have to!
Kelsey keeps walking and Kopa nervously walks behind her.
Back at Priderock Adofo, Simba, Nala and Knuckles are training Sampson and Shanon. Sampson is training with machetes and Shanon is training with guns.
Knuckles: Okay just keep your eye on the target, you have to learn to shoot without aiming otherwise you’ll just slow everyone down.
Sampson is learning pretty fast with his machete training. He chops apart three dummies with no problem. Sampson: How was that dad?
Adofo: Pretty good, you’re really getting the hang of this.
Simba: Yeah, but remember those robots have certain sweet spots, hit those and it’ll save a lot of time

CHAPTER TWENTY SEVEN !

Kelsey shifted back to her echidna form and walked over. "Sweet time, hmm?"
Knuckles smiled, Adofo nodded to her, and all Simba did was jump in surprise (like the cat he was).
Snow approached as well, being loyal to his 'sister'. "Puis-je former pour? C'est ma première vraie bataille, et Kelsey est juste, je ne suis pas la plus forte outil dans la boîte."
Tail's translator was on his back, reading "Can I train too? Kels is right, I'm not the sharpest tool in the box."
Kelsey rolled her eyes. "It's SHED, not BOX."
Snow just snorted. "Voir?" (See?)
Shanon aimed at the target and fired.
"Nice shot!" Kopa said to his cousin. "You should try it on moving game."
Snow tilted his head. "Quoi de jeu?" (What's game?)
Kelsey face palmed. "There's two different types of game; checkers and hoofed animals."
The Bichon's face lit up. "Voulez-vous dire la nourriture? Allons-nous manger? Peut-être des poissons? J'aime le poisson! Oh! Attendez! Y at-il des poulets ici? Nah, les poissons sont mieux. Quel est le menu?" (Do you mean food? Are we going to eat? Can it be fish? I love fish! Oh! Wait! Are there chickens here? Nah, fish are better. What's the menu?)
Knuckles laughed. "There goes his appetite."
Kelsey grunted, as if she didn't want to answer the dog's questions.
Simba decided to answer instead. "We don't have fish or 'chickens' here. We have buffalo, antelope, zebra..."
Snow didn't reply.

Chapter 28

Adofo: I could go for some zebra right now!
Simba: You’re always in the mood for some zebra.
Adofo: So what!? You like zebra too!
Simba: Yeah but not as much as you do, you need to eat more stuff, you’ve been kind of going overboard with the zebra.
Adofo: Oh yeah I should try to eat more things again, like remember whenever you sleepwalked and you kept trying to eat my arm!
Simba: I said I was sorry, beside you helped me through that.
Adofo: Yeah after you got a taste for 80% of my body!
Simba: It’s not my fault my instincts kicked in in a weird way!
Kelsey whispered to Nala.
Kelsey: He tried to eat him?!
Nala: Yeah, when we were kids. Long story.
Simba: Plus it’s not healthy.
Adofo: What’s that supposed to mean?
Simba: Well may you’ve been packing on a few lately, just saying!
Adofo: Oh yeah well I can still beat you in a fight.
Simba: You really want to go there?
Adofo: What are you gonna do?!
Simba: Prove you can beat me, like the old days!
Adofo: Wrestling?!
Simba: You’re on!
Adofo takes off his weapons and him and Simba get ready to fight.
Simba: Let’s do this!
Adofo: Come on baby brother!
The two rush to each other and collide, everyone rushes around them to watch the fight.
Knuckles: Hey Kels, can I talk to you?
Knuckles and Kelsey step off to the side.
Knuckles: Hey, I heard you kind of went crazy on a pregnant hyena, that’s not like you. Are you okay?
Kelsey: Yes! I’m fine!
Knuckles: No you’re not! Look I know you were close but they were my friends too.
Kelsey: I will make those things pay for what they did! Till my last breath I will make sure they are avenged!
Kelsey storms away angry and Adofo and Simba’s fight is almost over.
Adofo manages to pin Simba to the ground.
Adofo: Hehehe once again Adofo is the victor!
Simba: Okay okay!

CHAPTER TWENTY NINE !

Knuckles sighed and decided to wait for Kelsey's return.
Nala lost interest and walked away.
There was a roar. Kovu and Kiara had caught a buffalo.
Snow's eyes widened and he darted over. His first meal of raw meat for YEARS!
Tails flicked a fox ear forward, his- er, tails- swishing up and down.
Sonic was texting on his phone.
While the lions (and Snow) feasted on the buffalo carcass, Knuckles snuck off to find Kelsey. He needed to talk to her.

A while later

Knuckles knew that his love wasn't safe on her own, and he had been searching for a good 15 minutes. That's when he heard singing.

"Kels?" Knuckles called.
Kelsey was leaning on a tree, and was crying. "...what?"
He took her hand. "Come on. We have to go back. It's hard to let go, I know that. I lost all my siblings, I lost my parents, I lost my family! Do you know what I would do if I lost you?"
She looked away.
"Do you want to know?"
"Knock yourself out."
"I would kill myself!"
She glanced at him in surprise, then hugged him. "You wouldn't have to do that."
"Then stop moping around! They're in a better place. Robots will never bother them...I bet they're happy. And I bet they're telling you it wasn't your fault. Now, let's go."
Kelsey looked up at him, almost pleadingly, and they walked home holding hands.

Chapter 30

Back at priderock they all start planning their next move.
Sonic: Hey glad you two could make it back, so what's going to happen next?
Kelsey: Well I'm tired of just waiting around! I say we take this fight right to the source, we go after Eggman and that little diva hyena!
Adofo: But where are they, I mean they haven't exactly given us a map of where they are.
Kelsey: No but if we sneak into one of the factories and go through their computers I'm sure we can find something useful.
Knuckles: I like it! I'm tired of just sitting around!!!!
Kelsey: Okay then, we head to the nearest factory and find the computer room, a team will go in and hack the computers while everyone else keeps the bot and hyenas at bay. Everyone got that?
Everyone: GOT IT!
Knuckles: Let's go!

CHAPTER THIRTY ONE !

"Do you remember the one time that we hacked a computer from the future?" Sonic said to Tails as they walked.
"Yeah. That's when we found out about Mephiles. And that it was him telling Silver to try to kill you."
"Can you please SHUT UP?!! What have I told you guys about things of the past? Well, er, future in this case, but can you really just stop?" Knuckles shouted.
Kelsey was carrying Snow, because the ground was too hot for him to walk. Snow was panting in Tails' face.
"SNOW. You need a breathmint." Tails complained, moving away.
"Alors quoi? Je ne peux pas l'aider. Je ne peux pas me brosser les dents. Tout ce qui compte pour moi, c'est que ma fourrure est parfaite. C'est pourquoi je vous prie de me laver Kelsey beaucoup!" Snow growled. (So what? I can't help it. I can't brush my teeth. All that matters to me is that my fur is perfect. That's why I beg Kelsey to wash me a lot!)
"And that's why I take you to the groomer." Kelsey said.

Chapter 32

They all approach another factory with robots flying all around the building and hyenas out front.
Adofo: Humph something tells me we can't just do a distraction like last time.
Kelsey: Then we fight our way through!
Adofo: I can live with that.
Knuckles: Guess I'm up!
Knuckles leads the charge against the factory with everyone else right behind him. They easily overpower the hyenas and destroy the few robots outside and they bust through the doors and rush inside.
Nala: So where is thing we're looking for?
Kelsey: It should be on the middle floor in the center of the building!

CHAPTER THIRTY THREE !

WARNING: YOU MAY HAVE TO SKIP THE WHOLE CHAPTER, DETAILED VIOLENCE.

Kelsey said nothing more, shifting into her wolf form and galloping across the factory. Knuckles did the same thing and wasn't far behind her. They didn't look back to see what was happening behind them.
Knuckles slowed his pace a little bit, but what he saw next shocked him. Kelsey's black fur slowly turned white. Her brown eyes glowed cyan. She had shifted into her demon form.
Leaping at a hyena, she clamped her jaws around it's neck. Red liquid seeped out of the fatal wound she'd given. Blood, what keeps every breathing animal alive. Letting go of the victim, Kelsey looked up as a rare robot came at her; A robot made of glass. Actually, Knuckles hadn't seen such a strange robot. But Kelsey rammed into it, shattering glass and breaking wires. Grabbing a glass shard, she put the shard in the hyena's neck. Slicing the wind pipe, she waited a little bit before removing the shard. Blood, glass and dislocated wires were all over the form.
Not only was her wolf form out of control, with her wolf demon form, Knuckles was left wondering how he was unscaved!
Her fur started to turn black again, and the cyan glow disappeared. She walked away as if nothing happened.
"Love, what are we waiting for?" She woofed.
Oh. Right. Knuckles forgot he had a demon form himself. Whatever actions done in a demon form, wolf or normal, were erased from the mind.
"Uh, nothing. We're just watching hyena and robot hierarchy take place. Let's take another route."
