just need to do something fun and something different, but it doesn't look like that will happen anytime soon.

I know that feel. The only thing that worked to get me out of that rut was "Don't think about it, you got two hours to kill, what is something you could do with that time?" ended up going for a bike ride and that resulted in a new hobby just try things because everyone has something they will enjoy doing, the hard part is finding it but if you don't try things then nothing will happen.

Being bored and then doing random stuff is how I really found out I wanted a pet tarantula, that I like Disney movies, that I like reading or cycling.
I mean that's how most people discover their interests is it not?
That in turn helped me find new friends who share similar interests, so it was cool and worked pretty darn well.
Keep trying stuff and you'll find it

So helping me isn't occupied enough. Ok, no that's cool.
