Matias lifted his head, looking at her with baleful eyes.

'Not a good idea, is it? They've seen what I can do. And that stupid lizard thing could hunt me down. No, I'll stay.'

River got up, brushed herself off and set off towards the inn, Matias in her wake. She couldn't shake the feeling what she was doing was wrong, and it pained her wolf to see her so distressed.

'I just wish we could stay her, in the forest.'' He sighs, getting to his feet. Hatari snorts and bows down for Giovanni to ride him again, they begin the journey back, slowly.

'You got left too, huh?'
