I don't know how people can live without coffee. Because I sure can't.

I live without both, and don't drink energy drinks, and my soda is caffeine free. BUT I'm an insomniac, so. :P

Water is the only non-hot drink I still drink. Water, tea or coffee. Couldn't live without them (literally in the case of water XD)

Typically I just have caffeine free diet Pepsi, milk, or water or occasionally hot chocolate.

I can't let this ruin my mood. I've had a decent-ish day so far, and I can't afford to lose it again. But that means no homework. I can't relax doing that. I still have time to work on that stuff anyway.

So... apparently Mormons think because the government is doing things the way it has always done since America was founded, that that means the end of the world is coming now?

And their end of the world prophecy is.. just America collapsing in on itself? And that will somehow effect the rest of the world?

Either they are really stupid or this television program is not accurate.

^ We're going to have to face a lot of terrible things before the end of our generation, but the end of the world probably won't be one of them. Earth has been here for billions of years; I doubt it's going anywhere anytime soon.

I know what it would take to obliterate a 5.97x10^24 kg mass of rock floating through space, and it's something that's arguably more powerful than even God. It would take over 15 thousand of the most powerful nuclear bombs ever created, just to destroy all the land masses on Earth.

Thinking about it another way, it takes buttloads of fuel just to land a little Apollo module on the moon, so imagine what we would need to send all of Earth crashing into our nearest neighbor. It's so much energy, it's unfathomable.

The end of humanity could be a slightly more accurate term, although, even then, it would take a lot to kill off every human on the planet. Possible, but still unlikely to happen within the foreseeable future.

The economy will probably collapse within the next 50 years, and things will probably get crazy. We'll probably see more of the same: people being greedy, people starting wars, and people doing stupid things, only to hurt themselves in the end.

But that's hardly the end of the world. That's just part of the circle of life.

^ I know. There was one theory on this show that, now brace yourself for the stupidity of this, "All of the tectonic plates will start moving all at once, California will fall off into the ocean, and huge, catastrophic earthquakes will destroy everything." That's paraphrased, but anyway. Where do people get some of these idiotic ideas?

^ There actually is evidence to support that it will happen. The plates are always moving, and California's plate is moving away from the North American plate at the San Andreas fault.

But that's why I don't live in California. It won't be the end of the world, it'll just be the same old crap that's been happening for billions of years. :P
