These friggen viral songs.
Yes, we get it, nobody knows what a fox says. No, we don't need you to repeat the song. Oh, God no.
Same thing happened back when Gangnam Style got viral - Every time I get on voice chat or hang out with someone who plays music in loudspeaker, I'll inevitably hear 'OPPA GANGAM STYLE!' like 30 gazillion times. And then there was the Hitler remix of it.
And then there's the Anna Kendrick cup song thing.
And then there's the stinkin' LMFAO tunes.
And then you have 'Call Me Maybe'.
[s]And at the bottom of the food chain, you get (you guessed it), 'It's A Small World After All'.
No. Anything but that.[/s]
And the worst part? Whenever these songs get played over voice chat, for instance, it's always done by playing the song at some obnoxiously high volume over a terrible mic, so that even the people who like the songs won't want to hear it. Sure, if you broadcast it properly and people would want to listen to it, I understand, but when all we can make out of it is static, please, take your interrogation device to the patent office, not to the voice chat, and especially not when we're about to fight a high-stakes clan match.
It's a small world after all. With an equally small music collection, played over equally small mics by people with even smaller brains.
Damn, this is hilarious.
Why do I feel like most things are handed towards me and I don't work for it like other people do with hardwork? I need to stop accepting so much, stop living in a naive/safe bubble, and learn the realities of adulthood. I don't belong here...
Because only 1% of humans are actually capable of doing that, in this day and age. The only reason why we have what we have is because almost all of it was made in some developing country, by some guy who's only getting paid $1 every week.
And very few people actually work hard. Just look at Si, for example. He's on MLK during his work hours all the time. I'm on here when I should be studying, all the time. Meanwhile, some people actually do work hard, but never get recognized for it.
It's a sucky world we live in.
