I know I'm gonna have to talk to her about that again, but I'm glad I don't have to now. The only thing coming to my mind to say is "Sometimes bad things happen, and there's nothing you can do about it. So why worry?" But I can't say that. I mean, it sounds very mean, and it is, this something that's going to be on her mind and upsetting her from time to time probably forever. I can't just tell her not to worry about it. I don't know what to say when we have to talk about it again. Beyond telling her it's not her fault, which, as she points out, is only a may not be her fault, and I can't argue with that, but I don't want her feeling bad about it. I don't know how long ago this was, but it's been years, and she needs to move on somewhat, but I know I'd be the same in that situation, and I don't know how to be helpful. =/
