What's worse is that the guys who are NOT idiots are the ones who end up alone. It's spectacular how bad people are at finding the right person for them. My theory is that any idiot can ask a girl out which is why so many of them end up getting girlfriends, but is also why so many relationships fail. Everyone is so desperate to be with someone, we end up choosing people who are not the right person for us.
Thus, statistically, guys like me and many others who actually want a girlfriend who we actually do care about and is the right person for us not just "the girlfriend"... Are much less likely to find one. It takes brains to ask the right person but when you do, they're taken because some dude who just wanted a girlfriend has already taken them.

Or, we could just be delusional. This may be what we want to think because these sorts of beliefs justify the situation that we find ourselves in, as guys who aren't idiots. I honestly don't know which, lol.
