Well I got a hug and an apology earlier, but I am still feeling a little confused about the fact he asked me to give him my keys to the flat.. Um.. No. So long as I pay rent, I can come and go as I please. He then mentioned avoiding awkward situations and the example was 'I might get with someone in the future' So that made me a bit sad that he seems to have got over it all very quickly 
But hey ho. I accepted his apology for being a douche. Will not be seeing him till next week so we can both have some space and I can make room for the rest of my stuff that needs to come back here. No way am I giving up my keys though. I still have two pets there who I intend to see on a weekly basis.

He gave me an apology but the thing that's upsetting me now is I think he will get a new gf pretty quickly :\ So the last three years really did mean nothing to him by the sounds of it.
