Zeke did not know what to say. He had never recieved a compliment before. He almost felt embarassed, having attracted attention to himself in such a drastic way. "Ok," was the only word he managed to mutter, for he did not know how to respond.

(Sry, my parents kept walking in on me, so I had to make it look like I was doing homework.)

Mila was surprised at Zeke's lack of words. She could tell that he was feeling exactly the way she was, and the situation was getting awkward. Mila also knew that if she didn't do something, they would feel awkward with each other for the whole journey. Without saying anything, she wrapped both of her front paws around Zeke's neck and brought him down to her, so that he was laying on her.

Zeke was shocked by Mila's sudden actions and yet again, wasnt sure what to do. He thought for a second and remembered Bakari. "Weren't we going to try to get some food before Bakari wakes up?" He asked, attempting to get out of the current situation

Mila became nervous as Zeke tensed up and asked her about what they should be doing. Zekes actions made it clear he was unsure about what he should do. Mila closed her eyes and softly said "Please, Zeke.. stay here."

[Zeke]

"No, I would feel bad if we dont come back with anything. We need to get something," He said, getting off Mila and standing next to her. "You commin?"

Mila did not move as Zeke got up off of her. She didn't want to get up. After a long pause, she said "I'm going to rest here for a bit." She turned over, so that Zeke couldn't see her face, and a tear rolled down her cheek.

[Zeke]

Great, now Im hunting alone. Geez what did I do? He thought, looking back at Mila who layed on the ground as he padded off. He turned his head foreward and took off into the grass. He knew it wouldnt be easy, but they needed something to eat and he wanted to get back to his friend.

Mila layed on the ground. I tried to get him to like me back... and it didn't work. Most guys fall for me pretty fast... like my last lion. She shuddered. She didn't like thinking about that evil lion she somehow managed to like and stay sides on. I'm not good enough for him I guess. She closed her eyes and almost fell asleep in the sun.

[Zeke]

~Later~

The large antelope in Zeke's jaws strained his muscles as he dragged it along the grassland. The sun was beginning to burn on his dark coat, but he moved on relentlessly. He made a bee-line path right to where Mila was and found her sleeping in the exact spot as when he left. "You gonna help me with this?" He asked, dropping the large antelope at his feet.

Mila awoke suddenly. She sighed and made a sad face. "Oh, yeah. Okay."
