Mahari gives birth to her first cub, Mkubwa. She is crying because according to the traditions of her pride, every firstborn must be sacrificed to the "emperor" of the pride. She escapes with her son and her mate and never goes back.

this was an old WIP on my comp. just found it yesterday and finished it... its a lot better than what i originally had too! lol
