Gabriel relaxed slightly as the girl lowered her gun and backed away to move her wound. Though he did frown as she mentioned that the kid meant nothing to her and he glanced over at the kid. He saw his lip wobble slightly.
Poor kid. I wonder what had happened to him
He then turned back to the girl and was about to tell her not to apply a wipe to a gun wound but too late. He grit his teeth as he imagined the pain. Sometimes it was worth putting up with the pain from the wound than applying an anti-septic. He watched her try to apply a bandage to to wound but he knew that if he offered his help, it would be refused. Gabriel turned to look at the kid as he asked him a question and he shrugged his shoulders.
"Days. Weeks. Months. Who knows? Lost count anyway. I don't think days should have numbers attached to them anyway. Just makes you feel old."
He glanced over at the girl and then turned back to the kid.
"I bet you are hungry. I could cook you something if you like?"
