The way I did it was to not "come out" per se. But I just didn't hide it, like if it came up in conversation then I would just let it be known, y'know? That's kind of my approach to the matter as well; if someone should ask me about it I'd probably be honest and tell them the truth...but I'm so close to my mum, I feel bad hiding it from her =/ She keeps talking to me about "future boyfriends" and it makes me uncomfortable because I know I'm just as likely to end up with a chick...and she doesn't.
