"You will not be staying here either Sardy. I am far too old...and when my time comes there will be no one to protect you. No one to teach you." The old mouse said with a small smile.
"For now, the boy will stay with us...until I see it time for you both to go on about your lives." The old mouse murmured as he began to walk towards his room, leaning on his cane heavily.
Amadeus was laying down on the same mat that he was sleeping on only a few moments before. His mind wandered to thoughts about the king and his men. He felt his nostrils flare slightly, as he clenched his fists. He then cleared his mind of that by replacing those thoughts with that of Sardy, the old mouse and Lilac. He closed his eyes slowly with a small smile on his face, drifting off to sleep again.
~ At Odio's Castle ~
Odio's fortress, that was built many years prior to this take over was made larger and into a castle in honor of Odio's new reign over all the lands. This meant that the castle was located north of all the other lands, and was known as Tyrannus. It stood tall above all other castles, shadowing the small and poor villages of Odio's territory. Within this castle was many rooms, hall ways, secret passageways and of course dungeons.
In the throne room Odio sat in his silver throne, the light coming in through the windows reflecting against his sleek black fur. His dark brown eyes were closed, and he was tapping his claw impatiently against the edge of his throne's arm rests. He opened his eyes and adjusted his crown. He then stood, dusting off his purple robe and crimson shirt.
"Where is that blind fool? I summoned him an hour ago!" Odio snarled angrily. One of the throne room guards coughed.
"S-Sire. It is difficult for him to get through the castle be-because he is blind and this castle is quite large...We should give him some time" The guard said as he shook slightly. Odio snorted as he crossed his arms over his chest. The lowly guard had a point. As if on cue, a robed figure entered the throne room. This creature was wearing a black cloak and was hunched over. None of the creature's features were visible and the creature walked with a limp.
"If I did not need your predictions you would be dead, do you realize that?" Odio said in monotone as he watched the blind seer make limp towards him. The seer coughed, and eventually stopped as it reached Odio.
"Sire, I had a vision. That is the reason for my...tardiness." The seer said in an unclear tone, gender wise. Odio frowned slightly not liking the sound of this.
"Tell me of your vision." Odio growled. The seer coughed, and cleared it's throat.
"I do not know when, I do not know how sire...but you will be opposed. A creature of white, a creature of the moon itself will plot against you. He will wield a blade that cleaves through any creature with dark intention." The seer explained. Odio's eyes widened and he picked up the seer by the collar.
"What is the creatures name?! What is he?! WHERE IS HE?!" Odio snarled, wanting to get rid of this creature before it became a threat.
"That I cannot tell you sire." The seer said with a cough.
"I listen to the stars, and that is what they spoke." Odio chuckled darkly as he gripped the hilt of his sword with his free hand.
"Can you at least tell me when this will happen?" Odio inquired. The seer coughed again.
"It will happen on a night with the full moon. All his victories over you will be on a full moon." The seer explained. Odio let the seer down from his collar and sat back down in his throne.
"This is troubling...all I've worked so hard to achieve...is going to be destroyed by a single creature! No...I won't allow it! Guards! I want you to write up a notice that if any white furred creatures are spotted, we will offer up a huge reward for their capture!" Odio ordered.
"Get moving!" Odio roared. The guards yelped as they quickly made their way out of the throne room to do as they were asked.
