Nuka woke up as he heard screams coming from Kovu. He saw his mother, hitting Kovu to train him and Kovu suffering from the hits. He yawned and grated his fur because of those blood-sucking termites he had for a long time. He hated termites, which included that Kovu, the ''chosen one''. As horrible as they were, Nuka enjoyed Kovu's screams and crying. Serves you right, chosen one. he said with disgust. He decided to stay there so he could stay safe.

Zira heard Nuka. "Nuka, help me. Help me attack Kovu. But not killing him." Zira stepped back as she waited for her termite infested son, Nuka, so try to get Kovu to attack.

Kovu didnt want to fight back... he couldn't hit his mother or bite her. Kovu couldn't trust his ears that Zira asked Nuka to attack him too. Kovu crawled into a corner of the den and lickd his wounds. Then he put his paws on his head to protect himself. No don't do this... Kovu whimpered and cryed

Nuka's eyes shined from happiness. His mother was asking him do do her a favour! And even better, she was asking him to attack Kovu! He felt like jumping around from joy, but he thought he would look really crazy and hyper. He just said a plain happy Sure mother!. He stood up and stretched. It was a pleasure for him to hurt Kovu. His mother would never allow him to touch him, like he was a collector's item.

He walked close to the cub, that looked really hurt, with an evil grin on his face. It was his time to get revenge. He looked at Kovu before hitting him. He suddenly heard the cub begging for mercy. It was the first time someone was asking him for forgiveness. He felt sorry for the cub for the first time, but then he thought that his mother would be proud.

Goodnight, sweet prince. he whispered at the cub so his mother wouldn't hear. He quickly bit Kovu's paw, trying to make it bleed. It was hard for Nuka to make anything bleed since his fangs were weak.

Zira smiled. Kovu would get hurt now. Then, all of a sudden, she heard a voice. "Stop!" It was Vitani. Seh ran over to her brother. "What's going on?" "I'm training Kovu on weakness and how to fight back, but he's not doing anything about it." Vitani gave her mom a mean look.

Kovu thought his brother would help him. He never knew that he hated him so much and now he was still thinking he didnt hate him. The hurt cub thought Nuka just did it because of his mother. Kovu screamed of pain and tried to pull hi paw out of Nukas fangs. The paw starte to bleed soon and the first drips of the red juice dripped on the dry ground. The words nuka whispered into his ear weren't words of sadness. He said it with hate in his voice. Kovu opened his muzzle and said low. Please brother stop it why are you doing this. It hurts please he still whimpered and cryed harder. He cryed so hard taht he didnt hear vitanis Voice.

Nuka quickly got his paws off as soon as he saw Vitani. Vitani would ALWAYS get Kovu out of a bad situation, and he hated her for that. He turned to his mother, ignoring Kovu. But mother! You can't allow this! Kovu needs to be trained! he told his mother so he could allow her to continue.

Kovu wondered why Nuka stopped to hurt him but then he opened his eyes and saw Vitani. He tryed to stand up but nuka bit his paw so hard that it hurt to much when when he tryed to stand up. The cub really hoped his mother would say that Nuka shall stop and Vitani heal his wounds.

"You can't hurt him mother! If you want him to be king, you shouldn't hurt him! He might grow up weak!" Vitani shouted at her mother as she licked Kovu on the forehead. "He's my brother, if you hurt him, you will then hurt me." Vitani said as she walked up to her mother.


Zira listened to Vitani. When Vitani walked up to her, she thought for a mintue. Kovu isn't your brother. But you think he is. Zira thought as she looked at her daughter. "Vitani..." Zira thought. "Vitani your right." Zira looked at Kovu. "Kovu! Stay in here and rest. But tomorrow we will start simple, you won't get hurt." Zira started to walk out. "Nuka! Come back out here and try to fing food! If you do you get to pick what part of our food you want!" Zira shouted at Nuka.

Kovu was so happy that he had a sister like Vitani. She always protected him and helped him in every situation. His wounds still hurt and his mother jsut said he should stay there and rest. But no one dealt with his wounds. He was bleeding and he had some bruises from the hard punshes and confrontations with the wall.
Kovu didn't want to train even if it would hurt or not.
