Julie Skywalker wrote:^ Yes most people say many times that they'll quit and don't. But if this place ruins the one day I was supposed to have an ok day for once, then I won't go back. So far the money's done me 0 good anyway so my only profit from this is paid in stress.

Honestly, I just can't imagine quitting your job to be the solution to such a problem. Granted, you should be able to have at least *some* say in when you work, at least most of the time. But, if it's just one day, it's probably worth suffering through in the long run.

Almost everyone has a job or some other sort of occupation, and most people have absolutely no trouble finding time to do what they want to do. I'm sure this is more of a matter of inconvenience more than anything else, and as such, I'm sure there is a way to work around the problem without completely giving up on the idea of having a job. Maybe it won't work out this week, but there's no reason why you wouldn't have more flexible hours later on, and it'll get better in the long term.

Ahem, now, time to work on economics hw I guess... which means, if you don't mind, I've got my own complaining to do. :nehneh:

^ It's not a matter of inconvenience, it's a matter of if I have to work Fridays at 2 until 10 I don't get to do the one thing that relaxes me at all on that day and there's almost no time to do it the other days either. All my time for it is already taken on Saturday and Sunday and once school starts I will have no time to do it at all on any day. So if they won't take me off Fridays I'm done. My brain can't handle constant stress with NO breaks. Two weeks and two days of days that are consecutively worse than the last when I don't even have school has shown me that.

And the one thing I wanted a job for in the first place, I'm going to be lucky if I'm able to do in the next few years or at all for that matter.

I have NEVER been more stressed in my entire life and I do not have the mental strength to deal with it accordingly. I already feel like it would be better if I just died and I'd rather not do that so yeah I think it would be better to quit.
