Not if they're claiming a personally meaningful life, and making no claims to universal or empirical meaning.
What is it with this forum and equating "finite" with judgment-laden "ridiculous", as if an un-finite choice is a possibility for anyone? Do you all really think you're big enough to hold yourselves up to only universal truths? Good luck with that, the *most* virulent atheists I know dropped doing that within a year or two and enjoy personally rewarding lives doing things they consider important with a broader than individual value.
It is possible to spend the scope of a human lifespan engaged in things the individual person finds meaningful, and it's dismissive to point your finger at that and deem it ridiculous when everyone does it. Even if what a person finds important is maintaining universal meanlessness
