The Lion King Alternate Ending

Scar fell from the top to the ledge from the looks of it the real movie. that's about the same distance roughly from the ledge to the ground....then again, Simba would've hit some boulders on the way down too so I don't see how he could've lived maybe that's why Disney decided not to go with it

I don't know about you guys, but I prefer the version they went with in the movie. This one seems too depressing and it shows just how gullible Simba really is. Seriously, how could he have trusted Scar like that???

Yeah the ending's confusing with the lion and lioness.... but it incorporated the "Good night, sweet prince" thing Disney thought about using since the movie was a lot like Hamlet. only Zazu isn't Nala's father

I don't know, Moka, Scar survives his fall in the real movie but the hyenas attack him and then they all get burned up. so I guess Simba could survive that the way Disney goes...injured, of course. and Scar's laughing and stuff seemed pretty mental, hahaha. I prefer the real ending. Scar gets caught up in his lies and Simba don't get thrown off a cliff.

lol, it's a much darker ending to TLK, which shows the slightly twisted nature that Disney likes to hide from the general public. Still, I'm glad they went with the ending that they did, since I honestly dont' see TLK being what it is now, if it had that kind of ending. Plus, all the poor cubbies. lol. As if Mufasa's death wasn't traumatising enough. lol. ^^

It is dark. It scared me! Well, the part where Scar goes 'Ahhhhhhhhhhh!' Because it looks like he's got black eyes and black eyes scare me. Because of the cartoon Mickey Mouse was in 'Ye Olden Days'

It's all about trust and betrayal in disney. The villain is shown mercy, then betrays that trust and is about to kill the hero when lightning strikes him or something. I'm glad they broke the trend with the Lion King <3 It makes Simba's victory <much> more meaningful.

I LOVED this version! I thought it was really sweet when Nala and Simba were talking. "I don't want to lose you" and "At least I know you'll be safer here. I'll come back for you" were so sweet! I thought it gave more meaning to their relationship. I wish they would have kept this scene.
