Welcome to the forum, it seems we have some things in common. I too, am rather fond of Tokio Hotel, and Studio Ghibli, though I've not seen many of their movies, and Disney too of course. I also love drawing.

You said you turn 21 this month, do you mind if I ask what day?

German was the only language I spoke while I was living in Rio, and Tokio Hotel was the first German band I heard over there. I could relate to some of their songs, and Bill is hot, so it just escalated from there

I have only seen Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle, but I have got tons of others recorded that I haven't got round to watching yet. I do love drawing, but unfortunately I am in the middle of an art block at the moment, so it's just doodles until I get over it.
I turn 21 on the 13th

I'm going to be learning German in school starting in the fall actually, I've wanted to since I first started listening to Tokio Hotel.
Ahh, I've seen Castle in the Sky, My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, and Spirited Away. I liked them all, though it's been years so I don't remember much about them. Art block sucks, maybe it'll clear up soon.

Ah I see. I asked because my girlfriend turns 21 on the 22nd. :teehee:

I was raised mostly by my step-mum, and she's German, so I didn't learn English until just before I moved to Italy with her. My husband was and is a great help, he's an aspiring novelist so he's good at it

I think I've got most of those recorded, I just need to watch them. Jason Marsden and Christian Bale motivated me to watch the other two :chuckle:
