Gaah that's like the scariest thing ever... I can't deal with this fragile connection forever, if something happens and destroys it what'll I do? I need to find work ASAP so I'll be able to do something if that happens...

Found out the current planned date for my new hotel to open. 24th February. Not going to get too excited though, or it's bound to get delayed again.
