With the morning sun slowly rising up over the horizon, Sirom wasn't aware that Songo took off in the direction where Viku was presumed to be. After a few minutes went by, Sirom opened up his innocent eyes and glanced around to acknowledge that Songo was nowhere to be found. A low gasp escaped his muzzle by this point and he immediately stood up on all fours, padding out of the den to see if she was taking a sip at the waterhole. Fixating his eyes at the waterhole, Sirom had a gut feeling that she wasn't going to be there and to his consternation, Songo was nowhere to be found. Consternation and fear were settling in as Sirom briskly padded off in the direction where he can smell Songo's distant scent.
"Songo... Where did you go?" Sirom thought, padding along quickly as his fore paws knocked away some thick bushes that were in the way. He was making progress now as the exhilarating scent was becoming stronger. Finally knocking away a few more bushes and twigs, Sirom came to a clearing and spotted Songo on her side injured.
"Songo! What hap-" Sirom's voice suddenly trailed off as his auburn colored eyes spotted the strange lion they encountered yesterday.
Viku, who was already present made his way out of hiding and pasted a sinister smile across those ebony muzzle lips. He eyed down at the pathetic Songo, shaking his head a few times in abhorrence.
"Songo dear, why so shaken? Is it because I've finally found you and you're helpless? You should consider yourself lucky right now since this chump of a lion showed up." Viku finished, glaring over to Sirom who was standing in front of Songo. Viku's intensity was gradually rising within him as his keen like claws unsheathed from his fore paws. He waited a very long time for this moment and he wasn't going to allow a push over lion like this one decimate his plans. The thought of splitting these two seemed a bit impossible until a bright idea popped in Viku's mind.
"Ah, Songo, are you in love with this lion? What is it you see in him anyway? Don't you want a better lion? A much stronger, boisterous and attractive one such as myself?" Viku finished and chuckled softly, leisurely making his way towards the two lions before stopping a few feet away. Viku knew it was going to be quite tough to try and separate these two but having Songo incapacitated made things a little easier. Controlling his actions and composure, the immoral lion took a seat and glanced down to Songo who was terrified.
"Have you told Sirom about what happened in the past Songo? If not, you better tell him now. Tell him what your future is suppose to be. I bet he'll be quite surprised." Viku said serenely with a chuckle, fixating his lemon colored eyes on the other male lion.
